We’re a proven team, with proven technology, proving to be a sustainable business in a market that’s here to stay. Even among the volatility of a growing industry, the company has remained strong. With significant backgrounds in fuel production and a focus on the advancement of renewable fuels, the people behind our company are recognized leaders in biodiesel and the field of sustainable energy worldwide. World-class facility locations, flexible feedstock capabilities, advanced technology positions at the forefront of the industry, and an aggressive project portfolio form the fabric of the strength matrix that has sustained us through the challenges of the nascent biofuels industry.
Any strategy for preserving and sustaining our global environment involves the integration of end-to-end and diversified solutions for resource conservation. That’s why our approach as a business has been and will be to manage the risks associated with volatile commodities markets by developing our own integrated feedstock initiatives.
Organic Fuels was co-founded by Peter Loggenberg, Don Power, and their team in 2005. Within six months, we built our first production unit at Galena Park, with an initial production capacity greater than the entire nation’s consumption of biodiesel in 2004. The company was profitable within the first year.
By the end of the second year, the core of our flexible feedstock strategy was implemented, opening the door to a wide variety of advanced feedstocks and laying the groundwork for development projects now well underway.
We’re aware of the growing concern that biofuels markets could jeopardize the food markets people around the world depend upon. In fact, it was a concern of ours from the very beginning. That’s why we continue to invest in developing non-food alternative feedstocks produced from inedible oils.
Organic Fuels aims to be a market leader in renewable energy by integrating an Earth-friendly and food-friendly feedstock strategy with the production of high-quality fuels.
