B-100 Biodiesel Specification

Organic Fuels biodiesel is produced to meet or exceed the following ASTM and EU specifications. We test our product in our own lab to maintain its quality throughout production, and our results are verified by trusted third-party laboratories before we deliver. The result: biodiesel of consistent high quality.

  1. The test methods indicated are the approved referee methods. Other methods may be acceptable as per ASTM D6751-06 paragraph 5.1
  2. The 6.0 mm2/s upper viscosity limit is higher than the viscosity of petroleum based diesel fuel, which should be taken into consideration when blending
  3. Other sulfur limits may apply in selected areas in the US and in other countries
  4. The cloud point of biodiesel is generally higher than that of petroleum based diesel fuel, which should be taken into consideration when blending
  5. Carbon residue should be run on the 100% sample
  6. Atmospheric equivalent temperature, 90% recovered
