Sharing one world: the global energy solution For us, it's not just about solving immediate energy crises in any one part of the world. Shortages, conflicts, recessions, and pollution affect all of us, regardless of nationality. Energy is a global problem in need of a global solution. Of course, we can't boil the ocean. It's not up to us to solve all the world's problems at once, no matter how much we'd like to. But the people of Organic Fuels are together in a unique position to harness the resources that are already out there, ready to take one step at a time toward a solution that works for all of us. Feedstocks around the world Some of the most amazing things on Earth are found in its most remote corners. In the fertile soils of Mexico and South America, we're finding untapped resources and communities that can use our support. So we've established relationships with the local governments, farmers, processors and distributors in those regions to commercialize their natural crops. We're able to secure high-quality plant-based oils that put fuel in our tanks, while reinvesting in the local economies that keep food on their tables. It's a level of cooperation not often seen in this industry, but it ensures continued growth all around. Further away, in the vast fields of Africa, we're finding a rich source in plants that otherwise have little value, which is the just the kind of thing to really get us going. And just as in the Americas, we've established mutually-beneficial relationships that contribute to the growth of local communities there, providing access to resources otherwise unavailable to either party. Fuels across the globe Does all this collaboration on the feedstock side mean we're keeping all the fruits of these labors back home? Certainly not. In fact, we do at least as much business overseas as we do here in the U.S., and we're among the largest international players in delivered biodiesel and bioethanol. Thanks to the quality of our product, we're able to meet the European Union's stringent standards for biodiesel performance. We're incredibly clean. More importantly, we meet the requirements of some of the world's most discriminating fuel buyers. From the part of the world that's arguably furthest along in biodiesel adoption, that says a lot. And we're proud to deliver. |
